New members evening at Nailsea
The night of Wednesday 30th September saw the new members welcome evening at the Nailsea Masonic Centre.
The evening was well supported, with over 30 new members consisting of Entered Apprentices, Fellow Crafts and Master Masons accompanied by their partners and family members, we even had some non-masons in attendance who were curious about freemasonry and were very interested in what the evening held.
The night was also well represented by Province, with The Provincial Grand Master, Deputy Provincial Grand Master and all 3 Assistant Provincial Grand Masters making the journey to Nailsea.
Provincial Grand Mentor Ray Conneely started the evening off by introducing the team and explaining how the evening would progress. Various Provincial Grand Officers then gave informative talks regarding what Freemasonry is, and more importantly what the new members could expect as they continue their own masonic journeys. The Adair Club Chairman Wbro Tom Beasley ended the evening with an informative talk on the many events the “Light Blues” carry out throughout the year which was well received by those in attendance.
The evening finished with a fabulous buffet supplied by the Hall Caterers, washed down with a complimentary drink!
For those who missed out on this event, there is another new members evening being held at Yeovil Masonic Temple on Wednesday 28th October starting at 7pm
WBro Dave Palmer – Provincial Assistant Grand Secretary
