St Keyna Chapter Celebrate
St Keyna Chapter held their Installation meeting recently and, although the First and Second Principals have previously held that position, the highlight was that a new Companion attained the chair of Third Principal.
Bob Edwards was suitably installed as ‘J’ and Barry Mc Cormack and Stephen Coles were invested as ‘H’ and ‘Z’ respectively.
The evening was filled with good humour, especially when things did not go exactly to plan! Nevertheless, the ceremony overall was conducted with due reverence, and the members and guests were treated to an excellent spectacle.
David Dixon, Past 3rd Provincial Principal, conducted by Angus Ross, Provincial DC, were in attendance along with a Grand Officer of the Chapter and two active Provincial Officers.
David Dixon presented a Grand Chapter certificate to Companion Simon Reilly.
The evening concluded with an excellent meal and speeches.
During which, a raffle was held, which raised £190 for Keynsham Explorer Scouts.
