Provincial Team visit Tivoli to watch a Passing
Tivoli Lodge’s March meeting was a second degree ceremony, with the added
welcome of a Fraternal Visit by members of the Provincial Team. The WM, Chris Millard led his team through an excellent ceremony, to pass Michael Wilding. Tivoli meets four times a year on Saturday mornings, so in a typical year the team only get one chance at each ceremony but the highlight of the morning was the confidence with which the Junior Deacon Steve Reece, Senior Deacon Peter Wrigglesworth along with the Candidate delivered their contributions and it is fair to say they grabbed their respective opportunities and delivered in style.
After the ceremony, the brethren retired to the dining room where they were joined
by wives, partners and friends for an excellent lunch and an additional £570 was
raised for the Worshipful Master’s nominated charity “Aishah’s Food Charity” which a
hot meal food bank providing support to those suffering from food insecurity in the
Weston super Mare area.
