Gordano Successful Fun Quiz Night raises money for charity

Gordano Lodge held yet another of its now-famous fun quiz evenings in a packed Poet’s Suite at the Clevedon Temple. The event was organised by W. Bro. Matt Westley and Bro. Paul Locke.

Bro. Paul Locke served as our quizmaster once again and did a superb job. W. Bro. Matt Westley and Bro. Paul Bateman ran the raffle, raising an excellent amount for the Worshipful Master’s charity.

A magnificent buffet spread was provided by our Clevedon caterers, Zena and Neil.

We were delighted to welcome many brethren from lodges in Clevedon, Nailsea, Yatton and Weston-super-Mare, along with wives, partners, family members and friends — all enjoying a wonderful evening together.

The Gordano Lodge team proudly retained its title as champion quizzers. Next time, can you beat us? There’s a challenge for all brethren from every lodge!

Alas, the evening concluded far too quickly. We are planning further regular quiz nights later this year as part of our busy social calendar — please keep an eye out for upcoming dates.
