Athelstan conduct a special Raising for Tristan

On Friday, February 6th, Athelstan Lodge conducted a Raising for Brother Tristan Jones. The ceremony was performed by Past Masters in the Lodge Officer roles and was excellently presided over by Justin Pursey, who stepped into the role of Worshipful Master for the evening.

Brother Tristan was raised in traditional Taylor Workings fashion. He was invested with his grandfather’s Master Mason’s apron by his cousin Owain Jones ,who along with Tristan’s Uncle, Rhys Jones  both Members of Maesteg Lodge, traveled from South Wales to witness the occasion.

A fantastic festive board followed with the usual merriment.
