An International Masonic Burns night
Several members of the Rural Philanthropic Lodge, including the brand new WM, Ian Chedzey (only Installed the night before) the Immediate Past Master Malcolm Price, and their partners, visited Wales to attend a Burns night at Nioba (Newport) Lodge on Saturday night. It was a great evening with a 17 piece pipe band and excellent speeches, poems and songs celebrating the life and works of Robbie Burns who was also a Freemason.

It was a special night of culture as English, Welsh and Scottish Brethren combined in a truly wonderful night, the members of RPL said “we felt like very important guests and thank Willie Clason and the Nioba lodge team for making us feel so welcome.”
