First Time Was So Nice, He had To Do It Twice

January is always a busy time for Lodge of Science, who meet at the Masonic Hall in Wincanton, as it is their annual Installation meeting.

This year was a special affair as Kevin Aldred was installed as Worshipful Master for the second time (he previously took the Chair in 2015). Kevin had to receive Provincial dispensation to take the Chair, as he is currently also the Master of Sylvanus Lodge. Kevin has a wealth of experience as an Installed Master – he is also a Past Master of King’s Court Lodge in the Province of Dorset, so he is actually embarking on his fourth term as a Worshipful Master in the Craft.

The Provincial Grand Charity Steward, Graham Puddy, was in attendance to represent the Provincial Grand Master. Graham gave an outstanding presentation of the address to the Master.

Everyone enjoyed a bumper Festive Board, with a sonorous rendition of the Master’s song by the Lodge Treasurer, Lee Osborne.
