Athelstan receive the Travelling Trowel at their Christmas meeting

Friday the 5th of December saw Athelstan Lodge welcome the brethren of Thomas De Cheddre Lodge from Wedmore to receive from them the Provincial TravellingTrowel. 

A Short business meeting was then conducted before the Members of Athelstan and the visiting members of Thomas de Cheddre were joined by Friends and Family for the Festive Board. 

A fantastic festive three course meal was enjoyed by all and the night was rounded off with a brilliant rendition of the 12 Days Of Christmas, a festive table quiz and a raffle which raised a staggering £386 for Somewhere to Go; a local charity which helps rough sleepers. 

All in all a brilliant night to round off the calendar year for Athelstan.
