Loyal Vacation With Family Bonding
The Loyal Vacation Lodge no. 6209 met in Wiveliscombe on the 25th November, with the meeting business to pass Andy Reed to the Fellowcraft (second) masonic degree. The excellent evening was made extra special as Andy was supported by three of his cousins, who visited from their Taunton-based lodges. Pictured above (L-R) Alan H & Neil H (Vivary Lodge), Andy Reed (LV) & Pete Russell (Lodge of St George); Pete also delivered the 2nd degree tracing board ritual to Andy in his unique, exemplary & faultless fashion. The Principle officers, Senior Deacon & Senior Steward from Vivary Lodge, Taunton formed an impromptu inaugural Lodge mini fraternal visit, taking the shortish drive into the Wiveliscombe ‘far-west’!
The ceremony was followed by a very enjoyable Scottish-themed festive board where Stuart Sinnott (LV Junior Warden) toasted the visitors and Ed Richings of Vivary Lodge duly responded.
Loyal Vacation Lodge have a number of upcoming fundraising events including a Christmas Carols and Supper evening on 13th December and a New Years Eve celebration.
