Tynte Just Charity In November!

At Tynte Lodge, Bridgwater their November meeting is traditionally a Charity Night, with the Brethren, partners & friends (under the guidance and direction of top chefs Tony Saunter & Paul Binding) all helping to source, purchase, cook and serve a wonderful meal of sausages, faggots and vegetables – followed by apple pie & custard / cheese & biscuits. The splendid sum of £360 was raised which will be enhanced by Gift Aid of £90, making a grand total of £450 raised from the evening.

However, this year Tynte also had the added pleasure of making it a Bridgwater Fraternal evening and inviting Worshipful Masters David Young (Perpetual Friendship) & Matt Baker (Admiral Blake Lodge) and Brethren from both their lodges.

The highlights of the evening were the pleasure of seeing Brother Sandor Nagy take his first tentative steps into Freemasonry and Entered Apprentice Brother Jeavon Lazenby’s debut performance on the floor with a near faultless delivery of the Working Tools .

Attendees also had the pleasure of seeing Chris Marchmont present a Grand Lodge Certificate to Bro Richard Joseph, who also received information on Royal Arch Masonry. Another surprise at the end of the evening was a congratulations and presentation to Chris Marchmont on the celebration of his 35 years service in Freemasonry.
