Provincial & Grand Officers’ Sunday Lunch 2025
he Batch Country House at Lympsham, between Burnham-On-Sea and Weston-Super-Mare was, once again, the popular venue for this year’s Provincial Officers’ Sunday Lunch, held on 16th November.

Hosted by the Provincial Grand Master, Ray Guthrie, accompanied by his wife, Hazel, some 130 Provincial Officers of the 2025/26 active team and Grand Officers, together with their wives and partners, gathered for pre-dinner drinks in the dining room bar.
A very tasty Sunday Lunch was then enjoyed in the lively atmosphere which has become synonymous with this occasion.
The responsibility for organising this annual gathering traditionally sits with the incumbent Provincial Junior Grand Warden, as the ostensible steward for the Province. It was, therefore, Ted Toon’s task to orchestrate the proceedings this year… And what a brilliant job he did, too!
Ray Guthrie gave a short address after the lunch, at which point Ted Toon presented Hazel Guthrie with a lovely bouquet of flowers, in recognition of her ongoing support to Ray as he discharges his many Masonic duties and commitments throughout the year.
A great time was had by all, thanks to Ted and the team at The Batch.
