Emergency Services Donate To Jamie’s Farm

The Brethren of Emergency Services Lodge, Taunton recently made a donation of £250 to the West Country Charity ‘Jamie’s Farm’.

The charity’s motto is: ‘We believe in the innate potential and good in every child.’ This was something that the Brethren were more than happy to support. Jamie’s Farm hosts farm-based residential and day visit programmes for young people, in partnership with their schools and youth organisations at seven locations across England and Wales.

Their evidence-based, therapeutic programme provides a catalyst for lasting change with impact, revealing children leave the farm better equipped to thrive academically, socially and emotionally. Upon the recent opening by Her Majesty The Queen of their latest location at Lower Shockerwick Farm, Bathwick, near Bath, the Brethren of the Lodge were moved to make a contribution to their excellent work supporting children in the County of Somerset.
