Lodge Marine Splash Out!

On the 4th October, Lodge Marine held a 50’s/60’s themed evening, open to all at Nailsea Masonic Hall First, a bubbly reception, followed by a delicious 60’s themed dinner (Prawn Cocktail, Chicken Chasseur and Black Forest Gateau, but ‘sadly’ no Blue Nun Liebfraumilch – phew!). Attendees were then superbly entertained by Weston based singer Chrystal Bliss (below right), who has an extensive repertoire covering songs from 1930’s upwards.  Well worth checking out her website if other Lodges are planning similar events. Luke Stokes, Master of Marine (below left) dressed up as Austin Powers – Groovy Baby!!

Overall, the evening was in aid of the RNLI and Marine managed to raise £600.
