Derrick takes the Chair at SPGSL

Somerset Provincial Grand Stewards Lodge held their Installation meeting on Saturday 18th Oct at the Masonic Hall in Weston. Ted Toon PrJGW was the Presiding Officer with Tony Rash acting as his DC.Nick Male Installed Derrick Griffin in fine form with a little help from his friends.

Derrick took the chair admirably, using a mixture of Bristol Workings, Emulation and good old Stewards Lodge working. A Busy Freemason Derrick is in several other Orders including being the Deputy Provincial Ruler of the Order of the Secret Monitor.

Derrick went on to Install his Officers with humour and zeal with everyone enjoying their day.

As is tradition at SPGSL the wives and partners joined for lunch, after the sherry reception, enjoying a sumptuous Roast Luncheon.

Somerset Provincial Grand Stewards Lodge was created to help other Lodges in conducting Ceremonies (Passings and Raisings only) on their behalf, if a Lodge has a long waiting list.
