Perpetual Friendship Chapter Installation
The Perpetual Friendship Chapter held its Installation Meeting on Monday, 6th October. Although a
few members were unable to attend due to illness, the event was well supported by members,
visitors, and our official guests representing the Provincial Grand Chapter of Somerset.

During the meeting, Paul Binding was installed as First Principal, Richard Winter as Second Principal,
and Joe Arthurs as Third Principal. All three were expertly installed. The meeting was further
supported by Andrew Clapp, Past Assistant Grand Director of Ceremonies, and Mark Golding,
Provincial Grand Director of Ceremonies. It was an enjoyable evening, with a strong new team of
officers installed for the year, including several younger members taking on key roles.
The Chapter also recently donated £100 to the Middlezoy Rovers FC Under-12s team, along with
other Craft Lodges and Orders that meet in Bridgwater, to help provide team equipment. The team
will be recognising the support of Somerset Freemasons on their new kit as a result of this
contribution. James Brown presented the cheque on behalf of the Chapter to Matt Bell, a member of
Admiral Blake Lodge who also coaches the team.
