Forest of Mendip and Saltford Lodge Support Local Charities
At the June meeting of the Forest of Mendip Lodge they had a visit from Saltford Lodge, their “Daughter Lodge”, who during the festive board made a donation of £500 to be used as they wished.
It was decided to donate £250 to The Strawberry Line at Yatton, who employ and help young people who require additional needs; and another £250 to the Men’s club that meets in Yatton & Congresbury: this club is a meeting place for men with stress problems and other similar challenges, where they are able to meet to discuss their problems.
In September members of FoM made a visit to The Strawberry Line and presented a cheque to Sally Wilcock, the manageress and Michael Gay, who is employed in the cafe at the station. Joining them was Charlotte Henderson who is on a vocational learning placement.

After the presentation they all enjoyed a coffee in the cafe.
