Elizabethan Lodge Support Mikey’s World
Another year, another fantastic local cause supported by the brethren of Elizabethan Lodge, with outgoing Worshipful Master Malcolm Toogood presenting a cheque for £2,125 to Mikey’s World, his chosen charity for the year.

The cheque was presented at Bath Masonic Hall to Hayley, Mikey’s mother and founder of the charity, and her partner Scott.
They also took the opportunity to install a brand-new emergency bleed kit outside the building on Old Orchard Street.

Founded by Hayley in memory of her son Mikey, who tragically lost his life to knife crime in 2023, the charity works to engage young people through boxing and music initiatives, providing positive outlets and promoting community cohesion as an alternative to violence and crime.
Under its banner #StreetsToBoxAndBeats, Mikey’s World also campaigns for greater public access to bleed control kits: specialist first aid packs designed to help treat catastrophic bleeding in the crucial minutes before emergency services arrive.
Elizabethan Brethren are proud to play a small part in supporting Hayley’s incredible mission, and would encourage everyone to visit the Mikey’s World website and follow their social media channels to keep up with the amazing work they’re doing.
