Dungarvan Chapter Crown Their New Principals

Dungarvan Chapter 973, meeting at Frome Masonic Hall, held their Installation Convocation on the evening of Thursday 25th September.

The Chapter was honoured by the presence of E.Comp Peter Cook, representing Somerset’s Grand Superintendent. He was accompanied by Provincial Assistant Director of Ceremonies, Matt Williams, who also happens to be a member of Dungarvan Chapter.

The outgoing First Principal, Paul Dicken, is currently working in the USA, and so his IPZ, Neil Beckett, stepped up to the plate and did an excellent job of Installing his successor, Terry Hulbert, as First Principal. This form was continued by Terry for the incoming Second Principal, Roger Hatherell, and then Third Principal, Tim Adams, who all worked well together to Install their successors, ensuring the delivery of a fine ceremony.

Three new joining members were then welcomed into Dungarvan Chapter, and a Candidate for Exaltation was also confirmed to be joining the Chapter at the Convocation on Thursday 27th November ’25.

The new Principals are looking forward to their year and are hoping it will be a successful one for Dungarvan Chapter.
