Tivoli Lodge Installation

Saturday 20 th September saw the installation of W. Bro. Chris Millard as the
Worshipful Master of Tivoli Lodge No. 9417. The outgoing WM, W. Bro. Garry Ritson
installed his successor with all due solemnity and sincerity, the conclusion of a good
year in the chair that saw the Lodge initiate, pass and raise another member of the
Reece family. The incoming WM invested his Senior & Junior Wardens, Bro Andy
Richards and Bro. Angus Ross respectively, and noted that the progressive officers
were all ‘light blues’.

The provincial representative, W. Bro. Martin Slocombe, supported by PrAGDC Tony
Rash were welcomed into the Lodge, with W. Bro Slocombe, in addition to his
provincial duties, presenting Bro. Drew Reece with his Grand Lodge Certificate.
After the business of the day was complete, the brethren retired to the dining room
with their ladies to enjoy an excellent four course lunch. During lunch, the WM
announced that his Charity for the year would be Aishah’s Food Charity, a Weston
based charity that helps to feed local people in crisis, and introduced the brethren
and ladies to Aishah Ahmed, the founder of the Charity who was able to explain the
aims and ethos of her organisation.
