Double Up Time Again at Wellington

The Lodge of Fidelity and Sincerity recently carried out a double raising Ceremony for Brothers Chris and Steve. The Master invited the past Masters of the Lodge to carry out the ceremony and handed over the Gavel to Chris Waterhouse. There followed a top notch ceremony where the two candidates were raised to Master Masons in fine form.

The Lodge is currently riding the crest of a wave with 7 new candidates proposed at the meeting. This will require a number of multiple ceremonies and emergency meetings to meet this need.

The Director of Ceremonies of the Lodge Mike Condick kindly presented the Lodge with a new shroud to allow for future double third ceremonies to be carried out without having to borrow one.

The Brethren then retired to the dining room for a superb meal and much banter and good humour in evidence.
