Meeting update at Long Ashton Youth Club

Follow up meeting for Donation of £4,000, from Somerset Freemasons to Long
Ashton Youth Club, who provide young people with more positive activities
and professional guidance in a safe environment.

On 2 nd April W. Bro Paul Hinkley along with W. Bro Matt Westley and Bro. Simon
Jones, met with Dr Phil Jackson, Carl Tarsey, lead Youth worker Kathy and Youth
Worker Jade, both professionally qualified.

They have put to good use some of the £4000 that was donated; they have been
able to add another age group with support resources, to enable them to help with
the transition from first school up to Secondary, which can be very traumatic for
some young people. They have also invested in a new drink’s fridge, so they can
offer cold soft drinks and water.

It feels like our support is being put to excellent use.
