Who Needs a Travelling Trowel? Just Get Out There and Visit!

The travelling trowel is a great way for Lodges to arrange visits to other Lodges that they would not normally associate with. Why wait for the trowel? just get out there and visit! is the moto of The Lodge of Fidelity and Sincerity in Wellington.

The Lodge Mentor Duncan Sully Dunbar has been regularly arranging fraternal visits to different Lodges in the vicinity of Wellington (of which there a numerous ones). The most recent was to Loyal Vacation Lodge in Wiveliscombe. A crew of 16 travelled to witness a 1st degree ceremony that was carried out in fine form.

There were 3 Entered Apprentices and 3 Fellow Crafts in the visiting group, thus fostering the joys of visiting early to these relatively new Masons. The Master of the Lodge said he was proud to be part of this group visit, Masonry in General and Wellington Lodge in particular.
