The Welsh Boy Takes the Chair at Brotherly Love
In January Roger Knight, an experienced and well known Freemason, current Master of the Kings Court Lodge in Gillingham, Dorset, was installed as Master of the Lodge of Brotherly Love. The Lodge was opened with 23 members and 17 visitors present in Yeovil’s Masonic Hall Temple. Well known, highly experienced and respected Freemason, Steve Defries, was representing the Provincial Grand Master for Somerset.
At the excellent ceremony, the new Lodge Master appointed his new officers. Five of the seven Lodge officers are “light blues”! The Master then thanked John Pinder for his dedication and high quality long service as Lodge Secretary. Carl Caswell, the past Master of the Lodge in 2024 took over this challenging and responsible role.
After the Master appointed his officers, Steve Defries and Collin Vine gave the brethren present a real treat in their finest form – charges for the Master and his Officers. After the Lodge was closed in peace and harmony, the Brethren joined together for a sumptuous after meeting meal.
