Santa Adam Delivers

You may remember Brother Adam’s pre-Christmas appeal for children’s toys and will be pleased to know that he has delivered!

Thanks to your generosity, Adam collected an impressive amount of new and second-hand toys, some of which he delivered to Bristol Children’s Hospital.

Sophie Seiger, Community Fundraiser for The Grand Appeal, wrote recently, “on behalf of The Grand Appeal, I would like to say thank you for your generous donation of lots of toys and books for Bristol Children’s Hospital this Christmas!

Spending time in hospital at any time of year is difficult, but it can be especially challenging at Christmas time. Your generosity brought much-needed smiles and festive cheer to patients and their families. It’s not just joy that your gifts brought, but comfort and distraction to young patients undergoing often long and difficult treatments. 

Thanks to you, our specialist Play Therapy team ensured each and every patient received an exciting present on the big day, as well as having a full stocked playroom for all future patients. 

Thank you again for making Christmas sparkle for sick children in the hospital”.
