Lodge Marine help out Burnham on Sea RNLI

Lodge Marine meeting at Nailsea, has donated £2,000 to Burnham-On-Sea RNLI. Together with another £400 which Ben Preston of the Lodge raised after completing a motorcycle ride to Scotland and back within a 24hrs period.

An organisation close to his heart with a family connection, he and the Brethren of the Lodge recognised the important role the RNLI play within our communities, on call at a moment’s notice, when we need help. It also linked in with the Lodges Maritime history.

On Wednesday, 16th October, Chris Harris, Ben and other Brethren of the Lodge, on a very wet night, presented a cheque to Dan at Burnham-On-Sea station, followed by a tour of the Station and the necessary equipment they use and require.
