Widows Sons MBA Rally visits the South-West and raise over £16,000!
In July every year, at locations all across the UK, on a certain weekend of that month, you will hear the unmistakable roar of motorcycle engines making their way to the Widows Sons National Rally. This year was the 20th Anniversary of the foundation of The Widows Sons Masonic Bikers Association and the rally was hosted by the South West Chapters, including Somerset.
Over 650 members, partners, family members and friends made their way to Newton Abbot Rugby Club for a weekend of riding, socialising and celebration. The Widows Sons Lodge No.10011 held a meeting during the rally and we were very well entertained by 6 bands as well as stands from a number of charities supported by the Association.
All told, £16,000 was raised over the weekend and presentations made to a number of charities, including The Royal British Legion, LifeLites, Strong Men, Mental Health Motorbikes, The MCF and other local good causes.

If you’re a biker and interested in the Widows Sons, don’t hesitate to contact us by visiting our website www.wyvern.wsmba.uk, there you will find information on meeting dates, times and locations as well as a contact sheet for our Secretary.
