Royal Naval Lodge Get a Friendly Shot Over the Bows

It was a busy night at Royal Naval Lodge which meets in Yeovil, with a Membership Challenge Visit and a Passing Ceremony. The Provincial Grand Master (PGM) and members of the Provincial Team were present to talk about the challenges with recruiting and retention of members and how most Lodges had lost significant numbers of brethren over the years. This was a friendly shot over the bows for the Navy boys, which promoted healthy debate and it is hoped will assist the Lodge to increase their numbers going forward.

There then followed a passing ceremony, which was ably led by the Master David Roach, passing James Alexander in fine form. There followed the usual sumptuous meal after the meeting where further debate and lively banter ensued.
