Portcullis Takes Off
It has been a busy time for the Master of Portcullis Lodge in Langport, Denis Paull. On the Saturday he attended the Dorset and Somerset Air Ambulance open day to present a cheque for £500. During a very educational morning we were shown around the base and spoke to the pilots and medics on the team.
On the Thursday Denis passed Richard Potts who just happens to be a pilot in the Army Air Corp. The ceremony was fantastic and the highlight of which was David Hutchins who celebrates his diamond wedding anniversary this week performing the lecture of the 2nd degree tracing board. The meal afterwards was full of the usual warmth and banter you would expect from Portcullis. The visitors to the lodge left wanting more and vowing to return!
