Helping Out the Wellington Food Bank
The Chapter of Fidelity and Sincerity recently presented a cheque for £310.00 to the Wellington Food bank. Christine Silverlight and Maureen Crofton came along to the Temple at Wellington to receive the cheque. The money was raised at a recent Chapter meeting and was presented by Chris Waterhouse and Jim Nicol. The ladies have been providing assistance free of charge for over 10 years. They encourage people to make donations when they carry out their local shopping at Waitrose, Lidl and the Co-Op. ‘This will greatly assist us to provide food parcels for families and individuals who are really struggling in these tough financial times’ said Christine.
