Tyntesfield 100 Years Not Out
On the 2nd May 2023, Tyntesfield 4494 held their official Centenary meeting to mark 100 years of continuous existence.
The meeting saw 107 people attend in total, with a large contingent of official Provincial officers (37) including the PGM the DPGM and his 2 APGM,s. There were also visitors from other lodges in Somerset as well as from other Provinces such as Gloucestershire, Bristol and Hampshire. Many of the founding lodges of Tyntesfield, in particular Lodge of Agriculture and Colston, were well represented.

After the formality of the presentation of the Centenary Warrant, the Brethren in attendance were treated to a fabulous Festive Board meal and left with a special gift of a hip flask and Tyntesfield Centenary booklet.
To show the appreciation of the dedication and hard work by the WM Sean Mockett in preparation of this evening the lodge members presented him with a personalised Gavel presented by W.Bro Colin Fraser.
Everyone in attendance remarked how good it was to see the hall full of Brethren enjoying this special occasion and celebrating in a hearty manner. Roll on the next 100 years.!!!!
