1199 Lodge of Agriculture Donate £250 and Raise Bro Stokes

A Fantastic evening at Lodge of Agriculture no 1199 at their last regular meeting.

WM Liam Broad and his team conducted a fantastic 3rd degree ceremony raising Bro Charlie Stokes. This was then followed by a Jovial festive board where WM Liam Broad presented a cheque for £250 to Rob Lewis – Chairman of Yatton branch of the Royal British Legion – this will be used to replace the flagpole at Yatton war memorial, which recently received planning permission.

November ceremony is traditionally when Lodge of Agriculture like to support Military Veterans Charities. After a short presentation from Rob, Bro Alistair Jones gave an informative talk on the history of W Bro Robert Miles of Lodge of Agriculture, who fought and died in the battle of the Somme in 1916.  Many congratulations to all involved on a great evening
