The Brethren of Queen’s College Celebrate W. Bro. Andy Rodgers’ 50 Years Certificate
On Saturday 11th December 2021, a 50th Anniversary Certificate was presented to W. Bro. Andy Rodgers by APGM W. Bro. Richard Winter. Andy’s wife, Chris, joined them for the presentation. Chris has given Andy every support throughout his membership of the Lodge.
Initiated into Queen’s College Lodge 6988 in May 197I. Passed in January ’72 and Raised in January ’73.
The APGM noted that W. Bro Andy first became Worshipful Master in 1981, ten years after his Initiation.
Thereafter, he took on the challenging mantle of Charity Steward from 1985 to 2007, spearheading the Queen’s College Lodge fund-raising during not one, but two, Provincial Festivals! He then became Master for a second time in 2008. In March 2011, W. Bro. Andy became Director of Ceremonies until 2019. He is revered in the Lodge as an excellent ritualist.
He received his first Provincial Appointment to PPrJGD in 1987, followed by two further promotions to PPrGSupWks in 1996, then PPrJGW in 2005. His most recent promotion was to a well-deserved PPrSGW in 2017.
Andy and Chris live in Cheltenham, where he is also a member of Perseverance Lodge, 4554, in the Province of Gloucestershire, which he joined in 2018.
The Brethren of Queen’s College, Taunton, Lodge congratulate Andy on his outstanding achievement and thank him for his unfaltering dedication and support given throughout that time.
Here’s to many more years, Andy!
