The Somersetshire Chapter No 2925

Meets at Mark Masons Hall, St James, London at 17:00 on the 2nd Tuesday in January (Installation), the 3rd Tuesday in March, and the 2nd Wednesday in November

There is a chapter meeting at Mark Masons Hall, St James, London, named the Somersetshire Chapter No 2925, which is attached to the Somersetshire Lodge No 2925, which also meets at Mark Masons hall.

The Lodge and Chapter were set up for those Somerset masons who lived in or travelled to London, and wanted to be able to continue their masonry in the company of likeminded Somerset Masons. To this day, this continues to be the case, but memership now inludes Brethren from many other provinces.

The Somersetshire Chapter is a great fit for brethren who would like to either start their Royal Arch journey in London, or for those members of the Royal Arch in Somerset, who would like to join a chapter in London and help in taking the Somersetshire Chapter forward.

Mark Masons Hall is easily accessible from Paddington or Waterloo. Please see their website for directions –> https://markmasonshall.org/. If you are traveling up from Somerset, there is a good selection of trains to get you to the chapter and back home in good time.

Most Brethren arrive in time for lunch before heading to Mark Masons Hall in time for a rehearsal, which always preceeds the meeting. There are no lengthy committee meetings, and the festive board is held at Mark Masons Hall, where the quality of the food and service are second to none.

The Province of Somerset supports both the lodge and chapter with annual team visits. These are usually well subscribed with many Somerset Brethren who are not part of the Provincial team also attending.

At present the Somersetshire Chapter is relatively few in number, but is very keen to support those who would wish to be exalted or those wishing to join.
