Chris takes over as SR at OSM Burnham Conclave

With nearly 30 members in attendance, it was a good evening in Burnham as Chris Haliburton took over as the new SR of the Burnham on Sea conclave of the order of the Secret Monitor. Richard Winter was the Installing Officer and Chris led is new team in fine form.

The evening started on a sad note as Julian Frost gave a eulogy for his friend and keen Mason Alva Excell, who sadly died in the summer after a brief battle with cancer.

That did not stop the evening from being a great success with all of those that attended enjoying the friendship and fun of OSM, the meal that followed was Smoked Salmon, Chicken Chasseur and Sherry with some Trifle in it! Prepared by the ever hard working John Chinn.

Chris thanked the Provincial SR Julian Frost and Deputy Provincial SR Derek Griffin for all their help and support as well as the effort and hard work they put in to support the province.

Chris then had a 2+ hour drive back to his home in Cornwall, he said its a long drive but worth it!
