Solomon Diplomas awarded at Athelstan

Friday 2nd October saw the first ceremony of Athelstan’s new season. Chris Carter was raised to the Third Degree in true Taylor’s fashion, Chris was invested with his late grandfather’s apron, a special moment for him and indeed for all those present.

Despite late withdrawals all those taking part in the ceremony did so in exemplary fashion, with particular mention to John Southwood and Alex Buckley, and Justin Pursey.

The Lodge was honoured with the presence of Graham Puddy APGM, who presented Solomon Diploma Certificates to Steve Poland, Justin Pursey and Danny Bomford-Glaysher (since the meeting one other brother has achieved his Diploma and others have enrolled) !

The evening was rounded off with an enjoyable festive board in true Masonic fashion.

Our next meeting is on Friday 6th November. Which will be an Initiation. Why not come along and enjoy Taylors working?
