Forest of Mendip donate £2,000 to Testicular Cancer Charity.
The Forest of Mendip Lodge have made another donation to a local charity, on Wednesday 5th August we had a visit by three members of “ It’s in the bag” charity, supporting men with Testicular cancer in the South West.

They presented a cheque for £2,000 to John Garland a Trustee of the charity he was accompanied by Joe Mathieson and Ryan Hellings. After the presentation at Yatton Masonic hall they gave us a short presentation of the work the charity do at present and the work the charity are aiming to do in the future; which included their core aims of Support, Awareness and Survival, Ryan also spoke candidly about his own experience of testicular cancer.
“ It’s in the bag” is a Bristol based charity who offer support to men across the south west who have been diagnosed with testicular cancer.
The Photo shows the Cheque presentation by Paul Philcox, Barry Goodyer and Ray Beckingham.
Editors Note: It’s nice to see Ray out and about after his recent stay in Hospital (although the shirt is interesting!)
