TYNTESFIELD 4494 ROYAL ARCH CHAPTER MEETING 14TH MAY 2026
What a difference a year makes .. In May 2025, Tyntesfield Chapter held a very busy meeting and exalted Bro Mark Eastaugh of Estune Lodge, received the Somerset Sceptre and also heard the latest Membership Challenge talk .. In May 2026, the chapter has temporarily run out of Candidates and held a demonstration exaltation with Companion Mark Eastaugh again being the candidate.
With various key officers unable to attend, the Provincial Officers stood in with great effect.
Principal Sojourner, E Comp Colin Martin PrGPSoj produced another excellent ceremony.
E Comp Mark Caldwell PrG1stAssSoj was also a great stand in, plus E Comp David Attwater PrGScrN multi tasked at the Organ and as ScrN. Thank you to our Visitors for assisting in the evening.
The few in attendance were treated to a great exaltation ceremony with The Principals (E Comp Bob Paice as Z, E Comp Mark Wilcox as H and E Comp Steve Collings as J) leading the way.
After the Principals were elected for the forthcoming year, the Chapter was closed in peace and harmony, the companions adjourned for the Festive Board, again up to the normal excellent Nailsea standard. A very pleasant evening was had by all the companions of Tyntesfield Chapter and the visitors.
The next convocation will be the Installation Meeting on Thursday 10th September 2026. As always visitors will receive a normal Tyntesfield welcome.
