Another Flawless 2 nd Degree at King Alfred

On the 8 th May, the brethren at King Alfred pulled off yet another cracking evening to Pass
Bro. Mark Da-Nobrega to the degree of Fellowcraft.

We couldn’t of asked for a better candidate than brother Mark. He recited his answers to the
2 nd degree questions confidently and word perfect, and conducted himself with upright
intentions all throughout the ceremony.

Another special mention goes to brother Jan who is also a FC, and performed the 2 nd degree
workings in excellent form, this was his first piece of ritual and to deliver it the way he did just
goes to show how promising the talent is at K.A.

The evening was also honoured by a number of guests visiting from across the province, of
note were some new faces from Cleavdon visiting K.A for the first time, as well as our
masters personal guests who travelled from Midsomer Norton.
Sadly our Master could not attend this meeting so the absent brethren toast was raised to
him at the Festive Board, he has some pressing family matters and hopefully things start to
improve, they are in our prayers.

See you at our June meeting, we will be conducting a 3 rd degree so not one to miss.
