Wraxall Lodge Donate to Support our Masonic Fishing Charity
Wraxall Lodge brethren were pleased to be able to support the Somerset branch of the Masonic Fishing Charity once again with a donation of £250. The Charity have been busy raising funds for some time to support the purchase of a trailer to store and transport the equipment to put on fishing events and have achieved that aim. It is also signwritten so a mobile advertising board for the charity on its travels. It was on display at the recent Provincial Craft and Royal Arch day at the Webbington and will also be there for the upcoming Mark AGM. They also have a full programme of events this year – 3 Fishing days at Jacklands Fishing Lakes in Tickenham for Ravenswood School 6th May, Pill District Youth 24th July and Emergency Services in October (TBC) – together with Pass It On sports events for young people on 26th April and also in September and a stand at the North Somerset Show on 4th May.
The charity are always looking for helpers. You don’t have to be a fisherman – full training will be given if you want to fish, but they also need volunteers for all the other jobs in putting on an event. If you want to know more, contact Howard Ford, the Branch Secretary at secmtsfsomerset@gmail.com

Note from the editor It is good to see Rob looking well and not needing two walking sticks to stand we hope the health continues to enable the good work you do.
