Lodge Marine donate to Air Ambulance

Well what a day that was!

Bro Ben Preston of Lodge Marine 232 set out to ride 1000 miles in 24hrs on an “Ironbutt” challenge to raise money to assist Dorset and Somerset Air Ambulance in getting their second helicopter ready for service.

From Dorset and Somerset Air Ambulance charity headquarters in Wellington, round the edge of Wales, up into the Lake District, upto Scotland, accros and back down over the border, down to the m25 and back along the 303 to finish back at Wellington.

1102 miles in total Completed in 22 hours and 50 minutes, he set a modest target of £250 and is so far at over £350.
