A Perfect Tribute at King Alfred

You may of remembered in February we raised two EA’s to the degree of Fellowcraft, our
two Adams to be precise.

Well, we love a good story here at King Alfred and on the 10 th of April, King Alfred raised
these two brothers to the sublime degree of Master Mason.
It was a Past Masters evening and it could of gone any better, a pitch perfect performance
from the veterans at K.A, really demonstrating how ritual should be done. Each piece, to the
T.

It was also a very fitting night as we made tribute to a our long time friend and member
Phil Lewis how sadly passed away recently.

The contemplations in this degree brought together this night in such a wonderful way. A
candle was lit for him along-side his old collar.

Mike Willis provided a lovely eulogy, supported by some reflections from Peter Bryant, all
which was received by the brethren with open hearts. He will be greatly missed.
Be sure to come visit us, we certainly create a unique atmosphere for the brethren.
