Brother Father, Brother Son: A Family Affair In Tynte Lodge

Bridgwater’s Tynte Lodge started their new season in March under the gavel of newly installed Worshipful Master Sean Jones with a very much family-based second degree ceremony. His maiden ceremony saw Lodge Senior Deacon Paul Bateman, lead his son Luke around the Lodge room in very fine form for his passing to the degree of a Fellowcraft. Bro Luke also paid close attention whilst his father presented him with the Working Tools of the degree.

Working Tools were further to the fore when Brother Peter Wilcox was presented with his pin badge having completed the Provincial Grand Master’s Working Tools Challenge; thought to be the first Bridgwater mason to be so rewarded. The pin was presented by Brother Andrew Gorden Reid (Lodge Nyanza No 1197) – Area Representative for the Adair Club S/E Somerset.
