An insightful presentation at Estune by David Medlock PAGM
At their recent meeting the members of Estune Lodge, together with a great many visitors, witnessed a presentation by the Past Assistant Grand Master RWBro David Medlock, on the role of an AGM.

David delivered the presentation in his usual humorous way, explaining to the brethren what the AGM did and the amount of work it takes to manage the Organisation, as well as the building at Great Queen Street. (A lot of committees apparently!) There was a sombre moment when David explained why he stepped down as AGM, due the sad passing of his wife in an unfortunate accident.
David confirmed the future vision of Freemasonry was to continue with the one Journey mission and to make Freemasonry be enjoyable, saying it is ok to smile and have a laugh in a meeting as well as the Festive Board, also in keeping with the history and seriousness when required.
After the presentation Davis was thanked by the WM of Estune, Simon Eden, himself a past Grand Steward at UGLE.

The meeting was rounded off with the Presentation of a Grand Lodge Certificate to Simon Kodurand by Russ Woodland APGM, again in his humorous and relaxed way.

The evening finished with the ever lovely food prepared at Nailsea with good company and friendship abound!
