Third time’s a charm for Tennyson’s new Master

The November meeting of Tennyson Lodge saw Worshipful Brother John Holman take the chair for the third time, having previously been master in in 2018 and 2019. John took over from Worshipful Brother Steve Blewitt, who has done a sterling job in the chair for the last 12 months in what’s been a busy year for the lodge.

Steve opened the lodge in fine form and promptly got down to the business of installing John into the chair of King Solomon.

Tennyson lodge has an extended inner workings ceremony, which was performed perfectly by the outgoing master, along with Worshipful Brother Tim Reynolds.

Worshipful Brother Steve Coles represented the Provincial Grand Master for Somerset, and the lodge was honoured by grand officers, installed Masters, distinguished Brethren and Brethren from Somerset and beyond.

To help round the meeting off, worshipful Brother Steve Coles presented Bro Alistair Lindsey with his working tools badge, after he presented all three sets in one go at the October meeting, as was reported here –> Alistair Lindsay earns his Working Tools Challenge Gold Badge in one go at Tennyson Lodge – Somerset Freemasons – www.somersetfreemasons.org
