Perpetual Friendship Chapter – Festive Donation

At their December convocation, the The Perpetual Friendship Chapter, Bridgwater raised £150 from their raffle. The Charity Steward, James Brown, suggested that the Chapter could donate the proceeds to a local charity which supports children over the Christmas period.

The charity chosen was the Christmas Sparkle Project, which was founded by Gill Harrison. This is a local project which is run by the community, for the community. They work with local organisations that support families in need and during the Christmas period, they aim to give a Christmas gift to every child aged 0-18 years living in difficult circumstances in the Taunton and Wellington community, making every child’s Christmas sparkle.

Paul Binding and Norman Hucker were delighted to be able to present a cheque for £150 to Jules Smith, who received the cheque and showed them around, giving them a better understanding of what she and her volunteer team at the project do.
