Perpetual Friendship Chapter – First Principals Chapter Visit & Exaltation

The Perpetual Friendship Chapter No. 135 recently held a special meeting, with a visit from members of the Somerset First Principals Chapter, as well as the Exaltation ceremony of Peter Willcox from the Tynte Lodge.

This was a special visit by the First Principals Chapter to also induct David Maddern into the Third Principle’s chair, which required a temporary swap-out of our own Chapter’s Principals for the occasion. While the visit to our Chapter was an official one to conduct their own Chapter business, we enjoyed having lots of extra guests in attendance for our ceremony, and to welcome our new Companion into the order.

The Exaltation ceremony was also the first one conducted by the officers of the Chapter in their new positions after our installation meeting. The Chapter has held several rehearsals over the last month to prepare for the occasion, and the hard work really paid off. The members of the Perpetual Friendship Chapter would like to welcome Peter into the order, and we hope he has many happy years as a Royal Arch Mason.
