Tradition and Continuity in Royal Cumberland Lodge

The gravitas of tradition and continuity, in the hallowed halls of the Bath Masonic Hall, was in evidence as the Royal Cumberland Lodge’s ceremony unfolded, when Bob the Master Elect, was installed as the new Worshipful Master.

Matthew, the Installing Master, presided with dignity and aplomb in the presence of the visiting officer, Ray Conneely and his Director of Ceremonies, Tim Brookes.

With solemn words, Matthew had invested Bob with the symbols of his office, marking the beginning of a new era for the lodge. Ray Conneely’s presence lending distinction to the proceedings and underscoring the significance of the moment.

As the brethren gathered to celebrate, the atmosphere was filled with a sense of continuity and tradition, linking the present to the rich history of Royal Cumberland in particular and Freemasonry in general.
