Emergency Meeting at Gordano Lodge
Monday the 22nd of September 2025 saw Gordano Lodge hold yet another Emergency Meeting to initiate Bro Jon Card into Freemasonry. The WM David Parslow lead his team well, although we were all a little rusty after our summer break, we managed to put on a very nice ceremony indeed.
Martin Slocombe presented not one but three grand lodge certificates to Matt Buck, Jon Portrey and Stephen Ellis, Martin then did the most inspirational and passionate walking charge that not only had the three members but the entire lodge hanging on his every word.
Rob Collins the North West Area Adair Club rep then presented Bro Jon Card with his official pin badge and welcomed him in to the official light blues club of Somerset too.
They then went downstairs for a most wonderful and jolly festive board. The food, the company and the evening was quite lovely. It was remarked where else other than in Freemasonry could you find a room full of gentleman just all happy to be in each others company.
