Eldon Chapter starts the season off with an Exaltation

At its September meeting Eldon Chapter started the season off with an Exaltation, and introduced Bro John Frederick Hall-Moore from Olympian Lodge to The Royal Arch. John was a fantastic candidate and clearly enjoyed himself during the Ceremony. He later proclaimed that he is excited to learn more about the Royal Arch and in completing his Masonic journey, whilst at the same time getting to know the Companions of Eldon Chapter. We have no doubt that Companion John will be an active member of the Royal Arch and in particularly the Eldon Chapter.

The Exaltation ceremony was again carried out using the Savage Ritual. Eldon adopted the Savage workings in 2024 and since then have successfully Exalted four Candidates. The members of Eldon feel that they have the ritual off to a tee now, and they would like to invite any Companions from other Chapters thinking of adopting Savage to witness this ceremony at Eldon’s next meeting in November, when they have yet another Exaltation to perform.

Eldon Chapter was also honoured with the presence of The Deputy Grand Superintendent, Neil Hurcum. Ray Beckenham and Angus Ross (the Provincial Deputy Director of Ceremonies) joined Neil, and Angus also “volunteered” to present the signs to our newly Exalted companion, which he carried out superbly.

Once the Ceremony had concluded the Companions retired to the dining room to enjoy the usual good , good company, and good humour. The Toasts and formal speeches. rounding off an excellent evening.

Any Companion that would like to visit Eldon Chapter on November 6th to witness the Savage Exaltation you are welcome. If you would like to dine, please book in with the dinning Steward, Philip Du Kamp at pr.dukamp@gmail.com
