Tynte Lodge Honour Mike Needs 50th

Way back when, on 8th May 1975, Mike Needs was initiated into Tynte Lodge in Bridgwater as a 34 year old candidate. Such was his enthusiasm for his masonry that he very quickly rose through the progressive offices and was installed as Worshipful Master nearly 10 years later. Since then, he has served as Secretary for 7 years and Treasurer for a dedicated 13 years. He was exalted into the Royal Arch in 1979 and was awarded provincial rank in both Craft and Royal Arch, rising to PPrJGW in 2009. In recent years ill health began to restrict his attendance and the Lodge awarded him honorary membership in recognition of his loyal service to Freemasonry in general and Tynte Lodge in particular.
